Welcome to the brewery site
"La Brasserie de Bel-Air"
"Shepherdess" in the Limousin region (France)
In the region of High-Limousin, which is just 35 miles away from north of Limoges, rearing lamb is a real institution. The "Baronnet lamb" has the benefit of the very prized - PGI (Protected geographical indication) and as such only the lamb from this area can be given this most prestigious title, when cooked and eaten.
Since April 2008, the noble animal has cohabited with curious shepherdesses!
They are blond, golden-brown, amber, dark or white...
The fashion show "La Bergère"
The beers from La brasserie de Bel-Air which are highly fermented and not passed through a filter are available in 33 cl and 75 cl bottles. The alcohol content of each beer differs, the blond contains 5° (Pils type), the golden-brown 6.5°, the amber and the dark 6°, the white 5°. The brewery is developing a Christmas beer and is also producing a 75 cl lemonade.
Consumers seem to be seduced by these Limousin beers to the pleasure of the genitor who, of course, adopted the name of "La Bergère"(The shepherdess) for them all.
"To do what we love is the simple principle" David Didier (age 47) proudly said. A real passion, talent plus a great opportunity and the show was on. David started to create the brewery by installing all the necessary material for the fabrication, in February 2008 and started the brewery work one month later to have the first tanks ready for July and august 2008.
La Bergère has been developing a high quality beer for over one year. The brewer developed the beers for the pleasure of everyone, different kinds of beers with rich and varied flavours.
Have a nice visit and see you soon
